2023年10月12日、国立民族学博物館にて第1回海域文化史研究会（主催:MAPS民博拠点）が下記要領にて開催されました。

フィリピン大学からHermine Xhauflair博士を招聘し、フィリピン島嶼世界における海と森と人の関係や物質文化についてご発表いただきました。

We invited Dr.Hermine Xhauflair from the University of the Philippines to talk about the relationship between sea, forest and people and material culture in the Philippine archipelago.

On 12 October 2023, the 1st Meeting for Maritime Culture History (organised by MAPS at Minpaku) was held at the National Museum of Ethnology.
