Abstract
This talk presents an overview of rock art, especially pictographs or rock paintings on some areas of Northeast Thailand such as those in the provinces of Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, and Loei. Aspects of rock art such as style, location, production, interpretation, as well as management will be presented in both regional and global perspectives. At the final remark, the speaker will also give a short presentation of the new significant discovery of archaeological site and evidence in west-central Thailand.
